NEI TechFest
Designed to help highschool students get a taste of the real world, North East Indiana’s Tech Fest revolves around a number of STEM based competitions to help prepare students for future careers. The Cyber Warriors enjoy assisting with this competition every year, with two of our members being prior competitors. Unfortunately, TechFest has been cancelled for 2025, and while we’re disappointed by the news, we’re looking forward to next year’s event.
Indiana State Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition
The team will return hoping for their 12th straight victory in the state round of CCDC, a competition where college teams compete to protect and manage a mock company’s network from real-time cyberattacks.

Recent Project Updates
The TCW AI Project is a locally hosted AI powered by OpenUI, built to enhance both student learning and Cyber Warriors operations without relying on the cloud. It has two custom models: one trained on indianatech.edu for student and campus information, and another trained on Cyber Warriors’ internal wiki and documents, enabling secure, offline access to team knowledge for training, development, and upskilling, without leaking data outside the network.
Big kudos to Jeremy MacRoberts, former TCW captain, for helping make this impressive project a reality.
